15.09.08 Sglein are on the move!
Sglein are moving to brand new offices at Delta Lakes, Llanelli on Thursday 18th September. The new offices will provide a conveniently located headquarters as the company develops and looks forward to the next phase of its growth.
29.05.08 Fizz & Biz comes to Cardiff Castle

29.05.08 Fizz & Bizz at the Stradey Park Hotel

March 2008 was another milestone for Sglein - it was the company's third birthday. We would like to thank everyone we've worked with since we started Sglein as well as all of you who helped us celebrate our 3rd Birthday at the Park Plaza. Here's to the next 3 years!
06.03.08 Sglein/Llanelli Male Voice Choir in tune
Sglein are thrilled to be working with the world-famous Llanelli Male Voice Choir. We are now involved with marketing the choir and we are arranging an evening's entertainment, wine and canapes at the Diplomat Hotel, Llanelli onFriday evening, 16th May. 06.03.08 Sglein launch Olympian initiative
Sglein are delighted to be organising the launch event for the Super Schools Wales initiative on Friday, 25th April at the Royal Hotel, Cardiff. The initiative, which combines fun, fitness, and famous sports personalities, has been successful across England for a number of years and is now coming to Wales under the leadership of Olympic medallist Jamie Baulch and Matthew Hughes. Llanelli Male Voice Choir will be providing entertainment and there will be an auction of highly collectable sporting memorabilia. Tickets are £42.50 each with tables available for groups of 10 people. 08.11.07 10th Fizz & Biz to be held in December
Fizz & Biz reaches a milestone on 6th December, with the 10th networking event taking place at Brazz, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff at 6pm. The event will be sponsored by the Welsh Language Borad and Trosol, Wales' leading translation and subtitling company.
26.09.07 Sglein launch Borders' new Cardiff store
On Thursday evening, 27th September, Sglein are launching the new Borders superstore in Cardiff. This will be the company's third store in Wales and is located in the former David Morgan building in the Hayes. Sglein are responsible for this high profile pre-launch party, which will give guests a chance to preview the store and to be entertained.
25.06.07 Second Carmarthenshire Fizz & Biz
Thursday 28th June sees the second Fizz & Biz being held in Carmarthenshire. The Diplomat Hotel, Llanelli is the venue and the event is being sponsored by the Welsh Language Board and Carmarthenshire Chamber of Commerce.
22.03.07 Fizz & Biz in Cardiff
The next Fizz & Biz will take place at the Royal Hotel, Cardiff on 19 April at 6pm. The event sponsors will be the Welsh Language Board and Greenfield Media.
16.01.07 1st Fizz & Biz in Carmarthenshire!
The 1st Fizz & Biz to be held in Carmarthenshire took place on 30th November at the Cawdor Hotel, Llandeilo. The event was a great success, with over 100 people attending to network and discuss business bilingually.
Another Fizz & Biz is being planned for the Spring - watch this space!
31.08.06 UNO - uniting Welsh & the private sector Sglein are joining forces with Trosol, Wales' leading translation & subtitling company, to form a new partnership - UNO (which means 'to unite' or 'to unify'). The partnership will combine the two companies' expertise and will offer a a one-stop-shop to companies and organisations in the private sector who want to expand their use of Welsh. Services on offer will include translation and proofreading; meet and greet courses; Welsh in Business and bilingual Customer Care courses; and support and advice on bilingual websites, advertisements and marketing material. 21.08.06 Spwcs - a new event in October! Sglein is organising an evening with a difference at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth on 6th October. Spwcs - a bilingual Murder Mystery evening with three course meal & entertainment is a black tie event and an opportunity to play the sleuth and have fun. 17.08.06 Fizz & Biz in September
The next Fizz & Biz will be held at Brazz in the Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 7 September at 6pm. The event's sponsors will be the Welsh Language Board, Barclays Bank and Greenfield Media.
Fizz & Biz has established itself as a very popular and successful event for people from all kinds of businesses to meet each other, to network and to discuss the advantages of operating bilingually, in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
27.04.06 Latest Fizz & Biz Sglein hosted their 4thFizz & Biz event in April. The first Fizz & Biz to be held outside Cardiff, the event was sponsored by the Welsh Language Board and was held in Morgan’s Hotel on Thursday 27 April.
Fizz & Biz is a unique, informal event arranged and hosted by Sglein with the purpose of bringing together businesses and organisations across Wales to network and discuss Welsh business. The response to the Swansea event was very positive, demonstrating a demand for an event of this kind across Wales – indeed, Sglein are currently working on a programme of forthcoming Fizz & Biz events to meet this demand.

27.04.06 Sglein celebrate first birthday! Sglein, the Hendy-based business skills training and event management company have recently celebrated their first birthday.
The anniversary marks the end of a highly successful year for the company which has seen them expand both their services and client-base, under the stewardship and guidance of Sarah Mair Richards and Huw Thomas, Sglein’s owners and directors.
